Since the start of the school year I have been driving to Woorabinda, an indigenous community three hours inland from Gladstone, almost every week to teach Art. Over the course of 2 days I spend time with every child throughout the Primary School. It is my passion to hold space for other people to express themselves fully by tapping into their creativity. At Woorabinda State School I work closely together with two of the Elders who are in charge of the Culture and Arts curriculum for their community. Together we combine the knowledge of their rich culture with my art skills, which allows us to take the children on many rich learning adventures.
