Creating pop up art along an 18m fence line near the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum was on the main agenda for the Gladstone Youth Council. After successfully entering my design idea of a range of white mandalas, I got together with a number of teenagers and inspired them to create their own mandalas allowing them to take as much ownership as possible.

Once we had a clear vision we started cutting out stencils, while half of the group happily painted the fences silver. In the end we all got together, measured lots of circles and created a number of stunning white mandalas within a few hours on a beautiful Sunday morning.
