Janie Petersen loves transforming places when adding her unique and creative touch whilst working for private or commercial art commissions. No matter what size or medium you are looking for Janie is curious to hear about it.  In the past she has done numerous large-scale murals in schools, shops and libraries, colourful wall and floor mosaics for real estates and the council or chalk wall art in offices. Janie confidently works on her own, happily collaborates with other artists or passionately leads community art projects.

Workshops, Retreats and Festivals

Janie Petersen has been teaching for over 10 years and loves running various  workshops, where people can tap into their creativity freely. Using a wide range of mediums Janie has taught numerous people how to draw, use water colours, create mosaics, study paint, explore natural materials, use sacred geometry and heal through dance or bodywork.  No matter what subject the workshops are on Janie is passionate about setting up a safe and inspirational space for people to explore their true and authentic self allowing participants to be free and walking away feeling in tune and balance with their creativity.

There is not a day that goes by without Janie taking pictures either with her phone or a long loved SLR camera. She loves using natural lighting for her creative portraits, down to earth fashion shots or when capturing the beauty of mother nature.
